Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine. It spotlights highly anticipated, upcoming releases.

This week I am waiting on Soldier by Julie Kagawa, it will be published on April 26th! (This is the third book in a series, so don’t read the blurb if you haven’t read the first two books. Click here to read about the first book, Talon.)

soldierDescription from goodreads:

A fighter dedicated to saving humankind from dragons in strictest secrecy.

That was what Garret Xavier Sebastian thought he was part of as a soldier of the Order of St. George. What he learned from a fiery dragon hatchling twisted all he believed in and set him on a collision course with certain death-but not without a chance to put things right.

Betrayed and on the run again, Ember and rogue dragon Riley discover an unthinkable truth about Talon and St. George. They’ll need Garret’s skills and insider knowledge of the Order to negotiate an impossible deal-and if they fail, there will be no way to stop all-out war.

I’ve loved Talon and am currently in the middle of Rogue (even better than Talon, so far!) If you like listening to audiobooks, I definitely recommend this series, too. The narrators do a fabulous job! Julie has never disappointed me with her writing, so I am absolutely going to buy any book from her, that I can get my hands on (which reminds me I still have to buy and read the Blood of Eden and The Call of the Forgotten series. Yes, I’m late… but I’ll catch up). Also, the covers are absolutely stunning!

Have you read any of Julie’s books? What are you waiting on?
