The TBR Book Tag

Hello everyone!

I am officially back from my hiatus and hopefully won’t have to go on another anytime soon. To kick this Blog back into action I thought a tag would be a great idea. So here we go! I was tagged by Luna over at Luni Reads. Thank you so much Luna and excuse how long it took me to post this! (It’s been four! months y’all.) Check her post out here and definitely hit the follow button if you haven’t already.

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?

Mainly Goodreads. All the books I want to read are saved there and categorized. Send me a friend request if you like! Until I discovered goodreads I used to use, which is a huge book shop chain in Germany. Sometimes I still use my account there, but mainly if I want to order a book from that company. The books that are very high on my TBR are somewhere on my Amazon and TheBookDepository wishlist (because my Goodreads TBR is currently at more than 1500 books. Judge me if you want.)

Is your TBR mostly print or ebooks?

My actual TBR of books that I own is by far mainly ebooks, most of which I got for very cheap or free. Talking about my TBR in general (all the books I hopefully will read one day) I’m thinking about buying most of them in print. How can anybody say no to a personal library? Or at least a little reading room.

A book that has been on your TBR pile the longest.

Talking about physical TBR here, it’s Clockwork Angel.

ca And considering that I want to read the books in the order C.Clare recommends on her website, it will sit on my shelf a little longer than I had planned.

A book you recently added to your TBR pile.

Let me check Goodreads real quick… this is one of the last books I added to my TBR and it is absolutely beautiful. Painting Sky by Rita Branches.

A book in your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover.

Oh, let me see for a second. There’s a ton of books I have added only because of the cover, because let’s face it, even if I don’t enjoy it, it will look amazing on the shelf!

pos.jpgPieces of Sky by Trinity Doyle. To be completely honest, I don’t even know what this book is about.

A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading.

There is none. I usually throw them off the shelf (not literally, I sell them or give them away) or delete them from my wishlists.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you are excited for.

NOOO WAY I DIDN’T NOTICE THIS EARLIER! Lifeblood, the sequel to Firstlife has a cover! Look at how beautiful it is! *Looks at cover dreamingly*LIFEBLOOD.jpgYou can read my review for Firstlife here.

A book on your TBR that basically everyone’s read but you.

Let’s go with the option that will make almost every readers’ jaw drop: Harry Potter.

The one time I tried reading it, which must have been almost 10 years earlier, I didn’t enjoy it at all. Since then I haven’t picked it up again and don’t think I will in the near future.

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you.

Most people I know personally don’t recommend books to me, but I’ve read a lot of Blogs where Hate List by Jennifer Brown was praised and rated as not popular enough, so this is my pick. The premise sounds interesting and I can’t wait to get to this one some day.

A book on your TBR that you are dying to read.

Don’t even bother reading why I want to read it, go over to the goodreads page and read the blurb. Or don’t. Just buy it* right away. I know this one will be amazing!

Never stop falling

If you feel like doing this tag, then yay, you’ve officially been tagged (kind of).

Have you read any of these books or do you have any of them on your TBR? Tell me in the comments!
