Myself in 5 Characters TAG

Paige over at The Wild Readers tagged me for this TAG. Thank you so much for tagging me, Paige! Check her answers out here.

This was actually pretty hard to begin with, but once I looked up the books I’ve read, it was pretty easy to determine which characters had something in common with me.

Note: clicking on the title’s will take you to the goodreads page of the (first) book.

  1. Kat of the Lux Series – Book Lover/Blogger: This one’s pretty obvious. I had to include it.
  2. Hope of Sometimes Never – Music: She’s writing songs for her band and plays the drums. I don’t have a band, but I am writing songs. I always get a tingly feeling in the tips of my fingers when I don’t write my ideas down right away. (Trigger warning for this book: Self-harm!)
  3. Caymen of The Distance Between Us – Sarcasm: I love giving sarcastic comments. Though I only do this with friends who know me and can deal with it, because I don’t want to hurt people. (I’m just that nice)
  4. Karou of Daughter of Smoke and Bone – Drawing/Art: I’m pretty good at drawing, but I don’t draw very often anymore. Should definitely get back to that again soon.
  5. Penryn of Angelfall – Determined: She’s very stubborn about the things she has set her mind on. Same counts for me, I won’t give up until I’ve reached my goal. There’s an amazing quote for this: “Be stubborn about your goals, but flexible about your methods.”

I tag:

Beth @ Reading Every Night

Lauren @ Wonderless Reviews

Jesse @ Books at Dawn

Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions

and you if you want to do this TAG.

  1. Thanks so much for the tag. This one seems like so much fun, I love the idea of picking aspects from characters I love that fit my personality as well.
I love Penryn, Karou and Kat, they are all brilliant characters from some of my favourite book series, and I love the aspects you picked for them as well. I’d love to be able to draw like Karou (and you I guess!)

    1. You’re welcome! Yes, I’ve loved that about this tag too. It made me think about the characters and even myself in a way I haven’t before. 😀
Thank you! Yeah, they are great characters. Oh I’m not as good as Karou, I don’t have the technique to compare myself to her. If only I could ask her for lessons :’)

      1. I’ll definitely have to think about what aspects of myself I can see in some of my favourite characters then. I already have a few ideas just from thinking of it for the past few seconds 🙂
Lessons from Karou would be brilliant. I’m not a drawer, more of a writer actually!
